Rod was born and raised in Vancouver. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in East Vancouver. After 6 years in construction, Rod returned to school and earned a Diploma in Marketing Management from B.C.I.T For the following 6 years, he worked as a regional Sales Representative for a few large corporations, before leaving the corporate world for the real estate industry.

Rod began his real estate career in 1993 with Sutton Group in Burnaby. This was a central location for Rod's client base, which ranged from North Vancouver to Mission and Abbotsford to White Rock. With 90% Repeat & Referral business, Rod goes where his clients are. In 1998, he moved to a Fraser Valley office to join Landmark Realty Corp., where he remains today, however, the brokerage has since become Sutton Group WestCoast Realty.

Rod's wife Angela has been a licensed realtor since 1991. They have 3 children ranging from 19-23. The family is kept busy with sports, recreation & family vacations. Outside of work and family time, Rod enjoys hockey, martial arts, skiing & boating.
